Project R.I.C.E.+
Project R.I.C.E.+ is an annual, nationwide collection and distribution drive championed by youth leaders from the Singapore Red Cross, to bring food and daily essentials to vulnerable families. In addition to providing rice, they also include other food items and household necessities which have greatly touched the lives of the beneficiaries. Despite the disruptions caused by COVID-19, Project R.I.C.E.+ 2020 successfully reached out to 10,981 individuals with 12,611 hamper sets.
To do our part to ensure the continued success of Project R.I.C.E.+, in June 2021, we will be donating 5,580 Walch® Instant Hand Sanitisers to the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) for Project R.I.C.E.+ 2021. An essential item to always have on hand, the pocket-sized hand sanitiser will be distributed to both their volunteers and beneficiaries to help keep them safe and germ-free.
